Day 2: Lhasa City (Drepung Monastery + Sera Monastery)

Hotel - Drepung Monastery - Lunch - Sera Monastery - Dinner and free time 

* Drepung Monastery (China’s National 4A Scenic Area). One of Tibet's largest Gelug monasteries, its white buildings resemble a rice heap. It houses ancient halls, priceless scriptures, and hosts the grand Shoton Festival thangka display.

* Sera Monastery (China’s National 4A Scenic Area). One of Lhasa’s "Three Great Gelug Monasteries". Famous for lively daily monk debates . Features golden-roofed halls, ancient murals, and hilltop views over Lhasa.

Day 3: Lhasa City (Potala Palace + Jokhang Temple + Barkhor Street)

* Jokhang Temple (China’s National 5A Scenic Area). The most sacred temple in Tibet. A UNESCO World Heritage Site. Features golden roofs, ancient murals, and the revered Jowo Shakyamuni Buddha statue. Lies at the heart of Lhasa’s Barkhor pilgrimage circuit.

* Barkhor Street, bustling ancient pilgrimage circuit and vibrant commercial street. Lined with Tibetan handicraft shops, prayer flags, and pilgrims. Full of strong ethnic customs and religious atmosphere.

Day 4: Lhasa to Shigatse (7-8hrs Private Car in total)

Lhasa - Kampala Pass - Yamdrok Lake - Tibetan Family Visit - Gyantse Fortress - Shigatse

* Kampala Pass. A high-altitude pass (4,797m) offering the first breathtaking panoramic view of Yamdrok Lake. Features prayer flags, vast mountain vistas, and is a key photo stop on the Lhasa-Shigatse route.

* Yamdrok Lake (China’s National 5A Scenic Area). One of Tibet’s three sacred lakes. Renowned for its ever-changing turquoise and sapphire waters. Stretches across the plateau with snow-capped peaks, grasslands, and local herdsmen settlements.

* Tibetan Family Visit (Cultural experience). An immersive homestay activity. Visit a local Tibetan household, and interact with locals to learn about their traditional cultures.

* Dinggyê, a hidden border county in Shigatse, Tibet. Famous for its intact high-altitude wetlands, Chentang Valley (Sherpa homeland), and Qilin Gorge. Features sacred lakes, ancient hilltop Dzong, and unique Himalayan nature and border culture.
